Final part of a very long professional career

Successful 5 years

7 x Ironman : Canada, Brazil, Austria, Austria, Chattanooga, Canada, Australia

3 x Ironman 70.3 : Luxembourg, Zell am See, Zell am See

It is no secret that Austria always had some kind of attraction on me.  Winning Ironman Klagenfurt 6 times in a row would link me for life with the region, nevertheless after setting the world record I decided to keep it at that for racing there and only to come back for holidays.

Pewag Racing Team

At the end of 2013 the Pewag Racing Team contacted me and it just felt natural to sign with them.  This also made me come back to Klagenfurt for another 2 wins.  We had a great 5 years working together.  Pro-athletes and Elite-athletes doing what they love in a very professional team structure with all the support one could dream off resulted in many many successes and some memorable moments. Memories for life, friends for life.

Now the end of my career is closing and it is time for me to mix it up one more time and also start preparing what will be next.
So I will be looking for new sponsors and partners. The plan is to race as a Pro for 1 or max 2 more years and then shift the focus from racing myself to, support, coach, manage athletes and or a team.
